
I’m a Senior Software Analyst at Optoro, a company based in Washington, DC that helps retailers handle returns more efficiently. I focus on technical problem-solving, clean communication, and making systems less confusing for actual humans.
Before this, I held IT management and support roles at places like Liquidity Services and the White House (contracted through L3 Communications and Unisys). I’ve also done technical writing for eXtensia Technologies and cut my teeth in support roles with URS and Verizon Data Services.
I earned a degree in Technical Communication from Arizona State University, where I focused on user experience and added a minor in Applied Business Data Analytics.
I like making systems and processes more efficient, easier to use, and easier to understand. That includes documentation, design, and figuring out how people actually interact with technology. When I’m off the clock, I write and podcast about USL League One, the third-tier of professional soccer in the U.S. Publications include Beyond the 90, Southeast Soccer Report, River City 93 and The USL Show.
